What a year, right? The best social media line I have read this year was “2020 has a virus, uninstall it.” I am sure we can all relate to that.
At ProCAT, we have continued to use this time to learn and pivot instead of pausing for help. We have continued to work and put your investment in us to work for you. We know times are tough and you are faced with challenges; however, you have not stopped supporting us and that has not gone unnoticed. In return, we have remained focused on our clients and re-imagined the role of our clients in a new normal which requires more tele-reporting. Our efforts are reflected in Winner 2020 and we plan to continue to support our valued clients in their efforts to meet the market demands.
So we are pleased to announce the release of ProCAT® Winner 2020 Suite™ to our valued clients. This update incorporates features for both Steno and Voice Editions and related optional modules such as CaptiVision®.
We must first acknowledge the efforts of our valued clients who have been instrumental in testing this update. We could not have done it without their participation in the beta testing process.
The most notable features in this release are new cloud-based remote editing and realtime streaming. The remote editing feature is our third-generation realtime distant scoping that is built around our own cloud platform. If you recall, the first generation was based on a third-party VPN, then we switched over to commercial cloud providers. The previous implementations were not as simple and friendly. The latest design is simple, secure, and fast. It is as easy as a court reporter and scopist exchanging their email addresses. The platform uses their email address to make the connection. The transmission is secured by 256-bit encryption.
The new realtime streaming, CasePad.Cloud, has also been built around our own cloud platform. CasePad.Cloud is similar to Case.Pad but you can now stream your realtime to anybody connected to the Internet anywhere in the world. Again, it is very simple to operate, secured with 256-bit encryption, and protects your work product from unauthorized duplication. Please refer to www.procat.com/casepad for detailed information.
We have improved and repaired hundreds of other features to ensure the highest reliability, efficiency, and the most pleasant experience.
ProCAT Winner 2020 will be available on www.MyProCAT.com. It is a free update for our clients on a support plan. The remote editing feature will remain free to our clients on a support plan. CasePad.Cloud feature is available free of charge in your Winner 2020; however, you must purchase connection credits on an as-needed basis for as low as $8 per connection/day or subscribe to an annual plan for only $295. The annual subscription plan gives you unlimited access to a virtual depo room.

STOP: It is very important to note that you will need a registration code for Winner 2020. Do not start the update process without first having the appropriate registration codes.
