How do you push the last stroke out of my writer? Unlike the ProCAT® Flash, some electronic writers hold back, in their memory, the last stroke a user writes on their machine. This feature causes an adverse affect in certain environments (i.e. closed captioning). The following table lists the popular machines that hold back the last stroke:
You can use the "Push" command during realtime to force the writers named above, to transmit the last stroke to the realtime software. Follow the instructions listed below to add the Push command to your personal dictionary:

Write the above outline anytime there is a pause in a realtime or captioning session to force the last stroke out. Keep in mind that the Push command only works in realtime. |
