Is Winner Compatible with 64-bit Computers?

Winner has been tested on 64-bit Windows 7 environment. While there are no glaring incompatibilities in our software, your accessories (i.e., PCMCIA cards, Socket Communications Serial PC-Cards, USB-to-Serial adapter, etc.) may not work properly on the 64-bit platform thus rendering them obsolete. It is important to emphasize that this hardware incompatibility is not due to any shortcoming in your Winner software.

It is also important to our Winner VR users to note that IBM does have any updates planned for IBM ViaVoice voice recognition engine. However, Dragon Naturally Speaking version 10.1 is compatible with the 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7 platforms.   IBM ViaVoice users must convert to Dragon if they decide to upgrade to 64-bit Windows 7 platform.

All indications are Microsoft will continue to make Windows XP available through various distribution channels. Feel free to contact ProCAT if you would like to remain on IBM ViaVoice and a XP platform.
